AB Balance: This course will teach you how to easily combine strength, cardio, balance and stability training, making this aAquatic Kick Boxing: Blends the best of both modalities and training techniques to provide a high intensity, yet lowered impact, exercise alternative. Ball2 (Ball to the Second Power): This workshop combines training technique using medicine balls and a stability ball. Learn choreography and movement patterns to enhance cardiovascular and strength. Topics covered are Standards and Guidelines and Biomechanics of Stability Ball and Medicine Ball Training Boxing: This workshop provides an overview of the theoretical knowledge and practical skill necessary to teach a safe and effective Boxing and or Kick Boxing class. Topics covered are Physiology and Biomechanics, Injury Prevention Techniques, Mechanics of the Ring: Footwork, Boxing and Kickboxing Standards and Guidelines, Music: Mood/Sequencing, Equipment: Wraps, Gloves, Punch Mitts The Dyansu: Teaches the fundamentals for creating a well rounded balance and stability-training program. In addition, the Jump Rope: This workshop teaches the fundamentals of Jump Rope mechanics with the progressions to take your participants to an KickBoxing: This workshop provides an overview of the theoretical knowledge and practical skill necessary to teach a safe and effective Boxing and or Kick Boxing class. Topics covered are Physiology and Biomechanics, Injury Prevention Techniques, Mechanics of the Ring: Footwork, Boxing and Kickboxing Standards and Guidelines, Music: Mood/Sequencing, Equipment: Wraps, Gloves, Punch Mitts Kick Box Choreography: This course will combine lectures and practical training to help the aerobic instructor, personal trainer and fitness enthusiasts to understand proper progression of kick boxing movements to formulate dynamic group exercise programs and one-on-one sessions. Topics Covered: Punch & Kick Combinations, Body Alignment, Progression of Movement for Combinations, Kick Boxing Standards & Guidelines KBox Round II: This workshop provides an overview of the practical skills and theoretical knowledge necessary to teach a safe Master Class: 1 hour workout Personal Training: This workshop involves a combination of lectures, discussion groups and hands-on practical sessions. Topics covered are an introduction to Personal Training, Cardio-Respiratory Training and Nutrition, Strength and Flexibility Training, Screening and Assessment, Individual Exercise Program Design, Communication and Motivation, Muscular-Skeletal Injuries, Business and Legal Considerations Pilates Mat level I: This workshop provides an in depth overview of the theoretical knowledge and practical skills necessary to teach a safe and effective Pilates Mat Class. Topics covered are History of Pilates, Physiology and Biomechanics, Injury Prevention Techniques, Breathing Technique Pilates with Props: Learn the ins and outs of utilizing props to enhance a client's strength and progress in a pilates based program. PlyoPAC (plyometrics): This workshop is designed to teach the basic exercise formats that form a plyometrics based program using medicine balls, hurdles and ladders. Topics covered are Total Body Strengthening Workout, Stretch Shortening Cycle, Stability and Balance, Appropriate Cueing, Playground Activities, Eye, Hand and Feet Coordination Rubber Resistance: Upper Body: This workshop teaches the biomechanics of rubberized resistance training for both group exercise and personal training programs. Topics covered are Anatomy and Biomechanics, Principals of Resistance Training, Progression and Technique Rubber Resistance: Lower Body: This workshop teaches the biomechanics of rubberized resistance training for both group exercise and personal training programs. Topics covered are Anatomy and Biomechanics, Principals of Resistance Training, Progression and Technique Aqua Conference: Multiple Day Conference Stretch Science: This workshop teaches the biomechanics of stretching and flexibility. This course will teach the participant Active-Assisted Stretching and the mechanics involved to increase range of motion and decrease injury. Physiology of Stretching, Active-Assisted Stretching, Movement Technique, Upper Body Stretching Technique, Lower Body Stretching Technique Yoga Ball: This workshop combines Yoga, Pilates and Balance & Stability training with the Stability Ball. The mind-body connection is challenged with core training and breathing techniques.
