Aquatic Kick Boxing: Learn powerful cardio and endurance training techniques to incorporate into all types of aquatic fitness.
Blends the best of both modalities and training techniques to provide a high intensity, yet lowered impact, exercise alternative.Ball2 (Ball to the Second Power): Teaches training techniques and that utilize both medicine balls and stability ball in individual, group, and partner formats. The modules include exercises, choreography, and drills to enhance cardiovascular, strength, and neuromuscular training. Boxing: Is an interval training program incorporating the sport-specific techniques used in boxing to provide a high level of conditioning for both aerobic and anaerobic systems of the body. This course can be designed for one on one sessions or group. Jump Rope: This jump rope technique workshop will teach the personal trainer and the group exercise instructor safe, fun and effective jump rope techniques, basic to advanced. It will address various fitness levels and populations and teach modifications to allow for safe participation and skill improvement. This workshop will also help the instructor to select the proper rope for the individual participant. It will allow the group exercise instructor to choose from a variety of class format options and how to teach proper movement and skill progression for the individual. KickBoxing: Is an interval training program incorporating the sport-specific techniques used in boxing, martial arts and kick boxing to provide a high level of conditioning for both aerobic and anaerobic systems of the body. The training incorporates lectures and techniques, punching, footwork, punch mitts, kicks and the jump rope. Kick Box Choreography: This workshop provides the Group fitness Instructor and personal trainer with a comprehensive overview of the theory and practice of movement progression as it relates to the Kick Box Exercise. This course will provide a thorough explanation of the elements of variation in Kick Boxing and an analysis of the logical teaching progression based on complexity, intensity and safety. After completion of the workshop, the Instructor or personal trainer will have a better understanding of how to format their classes or training sessions to ensure participant success, safety and enjoyment of the Kick Box Exercise. KBox Round II: Incorporates the basic and advanced boxing skills for punching, footwork, mitts, thai pads, the heavy bag, the kicking shield and the jump rope. Master Class: 1 hour workout Personal Training: Included will be information on cardiovascular fitness, strength training, flexibility training, basic fitness assessment and prescription, motivation techniques, and related business issues. Pilates Mat level I: Provides an in depth overview of the theoretical knowledge and practical skills necessary to teach a safe and effective Pilates Mat Class. Pilates with Props: Learn the ins and outs of utilizing props to enhance a client’s strength and progress in a pilates based program. PlyoPAC (plyometrics): The PlyoPAC workout is a training program which incorporates plyometrics, power, agility, coordination and speed training into an interval system. The self-paced interval training nature of PlyoPAC allows each individual to get optimal benefit from the program by varying the contributions of the aerobic and anaerobic systems. This exciting new system incorporates ladders, ropes, weighted balls, cones, hurdles, steps, and other training tools to provide a high energy diverse workout that is both fun and challenging. PlyoPAC takes drills which have been used to train elite athletes, and playground movements that we have all experienced since childhood, and blends them into a program that is both fun and effective. Rubber Resistance: Upper Body: This course introduces cutting-edge upper body strength training techniques and concepts using rubberized resistance equipment. Learn the biomechanics of rubberized resistance training for both group exercise and personal training programs. Rubber Resistance: Lower Body: This course introduces cutting-edge lower body strength training techniques and concepts using rubberized resistance equipment. Learn the biomechanics of rubberized resistance training for both group exercise and personal training programs. Aqua Conference: Multiple Day Conference Stretch Science: The Power of Stretching system is a multi-joint program designed to improve muscle function by increasing range of motion. This is accomplished by using the Promise rope as a training partner for improving flexibility through the scientifically proven concept of active-assisted stretching. Simply stated, this type of stretching is a series of specific movements that use your muscles to actively bring your body into a series of specific stretch positions. Yoga Ball: Provides practical information and techniques for teaching yoga postures and poses using stability balls. The training includes program theory and guidelines, practical sessions of hands-on technique work, and program development information. |
