Boxing: This 1 day certification provides an overview of the theoretical knowledge and practical skill necessary
to teach a safe and effective Boxing and or Kick Boxing class. A written exam will be given at the end to assure proficiency
and technique of the instructor. Topics covered are Physiology and Biomechanics, Injury Prevention Techniques, Mechanics

A practical exam will be given to assure proficiency and technique of the trainer. Topics covered are Boxing and Kickboxing Standards and Guidelines, Equipment: Wraps, Gloves, Punch Mitts, Jump Rope, Kicking and Punch Shields and Bags, Physiology and Biomechanics, Injury Prevention Techniques, Mechanics of the Ring: Footwork Personal Training: This 2 day certification involves a combination of lectures, discussion groups and hands-on practical sessions. At the end of the two day workshop the participant will be tested with both a written and practical exam. Topics covered are an introduction to Personal Training, Cardio-Respiratory Training and Nutrition, Strength and Flexibility Training, Screening and Assessment, Individual Exercise Program Design, Communication and Motivation, Muscular-Skeletal Injuries, Business and Legal Considerations Pilates Mat level I: This 1 day certification provides an in depth overview of the theoretical knowledge and practical skills necessary to teach a safe and effective Pilates Mat Class. A written exam will be given at the end to assure proficiency and technique of the instructor. Topics covered are History of Pilates, Physiology and Biomechanics, Injury Prevention Techniques, Breathing Technique, Pilates Mat Series 1 & 2 Yoga Ball: This 1 day certification combines Yoga, Pilates and Balance & Stability training with the Stability Ball. The mind-body connection is challenged with core training and breathing techniques. A written exam will be given at the end to ensure proficiency and technique of instructor. Topics covered are Muscle Tone and Strength Conditioning, Yoga Theory, Stabilization Training, Breathing Technique, Programming Progression, Class Layout and Design |
